7:03 pm	Meet the Fokkers (sp?) Generally worthless movie. Ticked off by the constant slurs on the Ben Stiller character's masculinity because he is a nurse named Gaylord (get it? wink wink wink, nudge nudge). So much for three decades of "consciousness raising" and cultural evolution, men who are nurses, teachers, etc. really *are* queer according to mainstream America... 9:24 pm	Reading (attempting to read) Dreams of the Solo Trapeze by Mark Schreiber, about trapeze performers for Cirque du Soleil. Interesting topic, but I don't like the author's personality. He's too impressed with himself. Example: Five plus pages of soliliquizing about his difficulties as a stand-by passenger on international flights. Who cares? (Comment on this)
